  2. Mu5clehead says:

@funincluded lol NLP is about everything
    I use it in sports…. school… sales… friends… dating
it’s all about using it intelligently

Its how to use the language of the mind to consistently achieve our specific and desired outcomes…. Can it be used for manipulation? Sure; it’s amazing what you can ‘get people to do’ if you know enough about NLP. You almost sound disappointed that Jamie Smart uses his understanding to improve the quality of other peoples’ lives.

Try not seeing getting out of bed as the central focal point. Instead see GETTING out of bed as the central focal point.

Picture yourself getting things done, getting that rare but awesome ‘wow mornings can be cool’ feeling. Feel that awesome bit of happiness when you realize you now have an extra hour to do whatever you want. Focus on that, and then you will begin to naturally WANT to get out of bed to experience it. After seeing yourself enjoying it, become it, all it takes it getting up.

    well, now you know better

  6. funincluded says:

I thought NLP was about manipulating the ticks in people’s head

…not about building self confidence and shit

  7. ibelieveinyouandm says:

BRILLIANT. That last reframe was fantastic!

  8. jasoncudbill says:

ok..so how does the use of reframing change your behaviour to getting out of bed?..if we presuppose nlp directs us to the outcome that supports us…

  9. buffduff says:

Great questions for content and context reframing. I love the reframe at the end too. Very funny.

  10. eyveneen says:

@ClinicalHypnosis well you could plant someone in the audience obviously. how is that a difficult concept?

  13. bigredjimmy95 says:

@cassyandmom your attempt to manipulate may be what drove her away
if you want to be love, be loveable. then it will be real

  14. vivaloriflamme says:

Thanks for the demo. Very interesting.

  15. alyssamarrian says:

“and contentmyth..contentmyth… contentment with..” hehe. I am not sure if this works, maybe it does, but that was an interesting Freudian slip. ;)

Five isn’t in the middle between one and ten. Five is nearer to one than ten.

  17. jvictore says:

any of these names ring a bell?… Tad James, Milton Erickson(Milton Model), Virginia Sitire / Richard Bandler, and or Steve Linder

  18. jvictore says:

like anything, the more you do it the more it gets conditioned in this can also be called a resource anchor (self empower yourself before you present on stage/ask a girl out) (help others empower themselves so they can use it as well) :)

  19. MrLelouchy says:

i was wondering can you do this in another lang,?

  20. anoriginalname397 says:

How long do the effects of the anchors last? Is that guy going to laugh when you poke him for the rest of his life?

  21. conceptual0theorist says:

    this is really sad.

wow, this stuff is magic! it sort of reminds me of the stuff I am going over with a friend of mine, Doc Barham, a Los Angeles Life Coach, also known as Coach Hollywood. NLP is the art of communication!

  28. rometube says:

next time record it with the micro close to your mouth. It’s going to have a more defined sound quality and your recipients ears won’t get tired soon.

  29. SuddenSparkles says:

@noggleton well we used to say “no glove, no love” so what’s it going to take next? What concerns me is the “clinical hypnosis” moniker… next thing you know, rabbit out of a hat and silk from up the sleeves… oy vey.
