Does that stuff really work and conversational hypnosis? How could I learn and is it safe to use?
can you hypnotize yourself to be someone you not or kind of like get into character by hypnosis?

Yes it works, and is safe. You only need to find yourself the technique you like, so that you can go into trance because the more you practice the techniques you find on the internet, the more you will find it is easy to do when you actually give it a go.
There are many “inductions” which induce trance, some are quick, some are more slow, it depends on what you like. I suggest you google and type “Self hypnosis inductions” or something.
