My daughter is 7 almost 8 and I dont have the ability to motivate her
like mom and dad did me and my sister. She is smart and remembers everything she hears. She doesnt like reading books yet, and she doesnt like to push herself to do anything but play.

Tell her stories. Metaphorical stories* about people who had to work hard to get things they really wanted.
Don’t make them too obvious, and don’t explain them. Just let her make the connections herself.
She will push herself as soon as she sees a reason to push, and explanations and exhortations will not help. Praise her when she does something good and ignore it when she only wants to play. Give her time and space.
